الملخص    
  يهدف مقياس جودة الأداءالوالدي  Quality of parental performanceإلى تقدير مدى جودة العلاقة بين الوالدين- الابن. حيث تتضمن جودة الوالدية Quality of parenting المظاهر المختلفة للتحکم/الضبط الوالدى للسلوک (المعرفة الوالدية، التوقع، المتابعة،النظام، والانضباط). ويعرف الضبط الوالدى بأنه "التحکم النفسى الوالدى، والاستجابة الوالدية.
    ويعد هذا المقياس من المقاييس الهامة فى مجال الأسرة وعلم النفس الاجتماعى بعد أن تبين لها عدم وجود أداة تقيس مستوى جودة الأداء الوالدي.
