الملخص
يتناول البحث المرتکزات الفکرية والفلسفية التي اعتمد عليها المنهج البنيوي، الذى تولد عن مجموعة من المنطلقات الفکرية أهمها: أدبية الأدب -موت المؤلف -الثنائيات المتضادة- وحدات بنية النص، ثم يستعرض الباحث آليات التحليل البنيوي بالتطبيق على نص "عطيل" للکاتب الانجليزى "ويليام شکسبير" وقد ارتکز التحليل على دراسة وحدات النص من حيث (بنية الحدث – بنية الزمان والمکان – بنية الشخصيات – بنية اللغة) للوقوف على طبيعة الشبکة المتداخلة والمتراتبة والمنظمة فى هذه البنى الداخلية وتمت دراسة هذه البنى من خلال مستويين أساسيين هما:    أ- المستوى الترکيبي: الذى يصف مکونات البنية، ويحددها.
ب‌-  المستوى الجمالي: ويتضمن الکشف عن الثنائيات المتعارضة داخل البنية ودورها الدلالى ومدى تناسقها مع البنى الأخرى.
بهدف الوقوف على قراءة تحليلية مغايرة للقراءة الکلاسيکية التقليدية.

The research deals with the intellectual and philosophical foundations on which the structural approach was based, which is derived from a set of intellectual principles, the most important of which are literary literature, author's death, contrasting dictionaries, and textual structure. The researcher reviewed the mechanisms of structural analysis by applying the text of Othello to English writer William Shakespeare "The analysis was based on the study of the text units in terms of (structure of the event - the structure of time and place - the structure of characters - the structure of language) to find out the nature of the network intertwined and disciplined and organized in these internal structures and these structures were studied through two main levels:
 A. The structural level: which describes the components of the structure, and identifies them.
B - The aesthetic level: It includes the detection of the conflicting diodes within the structure and its role and the evidence of the degree of consistency with other structures.
In order to gain an analytical reading that is different from traditional classical reading.
