يتعرض البحث لفن الکاريکاتير من حيث نشأته وتطوره منذ بداياته الأولى فى الفنون القديمة وصولا إلى العصور الحديثة وانتشاره من خلال معرفة الطباعة ودخولها غلى عالم النشر الصحفى ، و خلال ذلک يرصد أهم التغيرات التى طرأت على وعى الشعوب محليا وعالميا والتى کان لفن الکاريکاتير دور هام فى تشکيلها وإعادة توجيهها.
خلال ذلک يرصد البحث البعد العقائدى و التوجهات السياسية والظواهر الاجتماعية والاقتصادية التى سادت فى فترات مختلفة من تاريخ الحضارات، ويحاول إيجاد علاقة بين فن الکاريکاتير کأحد أهم الفنون التشکيلية التى ارتبطت بالواقع والأحداث المعاصرة من ناحية وتطور الوعى العام لدى المجتمعات من ناحية أخرى.
ومن خلال البحث يقوم الباحث بعرض نتاج إحدى تجاربه العملية فى هذا المجال موضحا أهمية فن الکاريکاتير وتجاوزه حدود المطبوعات على مختلف أنواعها ، ليکون ذا قيمة أساسية (وظيفيا و جماليا) فى الفراغات الداخلية.
 
Summary
The research is discussing caricature art; its origins, its evolution since its early beginnings in ancient arts and down to modern times, and its separation through using printing in press publishing. During that Caricature made ​​the most significant changes to the awareness of the people locally and globally.
The research is reviewing the ideological dimension, political trends and economic and social phenomena that prevailed in the different periods of the history of civilizations, and trying to find a relationship between the caricature as one of the most important type of plastic arts, which have been associated with reality and contemporary events and the development of public awareness of the communities.
Through this, the researcher is showing results of one of his artistic experiences in caricature art with explaining the importance of this art and its overtaking the limits of different prints to add essential value (functional, decorative) in interior spaces.
