يعد مصطفى محمود من أکبر المؤيدين للفکر الوجودي أبان ظهوره ، ولکنه سرعان ما أصبح من أشد المعارضين له .هذا التحول الذي رصدته الباحثة فى المبحث الأول - بعنوان " التحول الفکري من المادية إلى الإيمان الخلاق " - يعد البداية عند  مصطفى محمود في إرساء قواعد فنية جديدة.  قائمة على تحطيم الأفکار التي صدرها لنا الغرب لينشئ عالما جديدا ايجابيا  .  کان مصطفى محمود  ناقما على کل ما يقدم من فن حسي يهلک النفس وأفکار هدامة تغيب العقل  . وإذا تتبعنا إنتاجه المسرحي نجد أن جميعها يدور في فلک هدفه الأصيل وهو الإصلاح وهو ما رصدته الباحثة في المبحث الثاني بعنوان " الرسالة الإصلاحية فى مسرح مصطفى محمود "  الذي استطاع أن يقدمه في صورة فنية وصياغة درامية بسيطة معتمدا على محورين أولهما .. رفض السيطرة المادية الغربية الهدامة . وثانيهما .. التحکم في النوازع البشرية
